Morgan’s Garden
Morgan lived in her newly built home for about year before reaching out to me ready to start a garden. With a new family, she had very little time to DIY. Otherwise, this couple loves a good project and has skills! After our initial consultation, we put her dreams into a design. About two weeks later, we were installing her new raised bed garden with 3 large growing beds and an additional growing bed just for their little girl. Additions to the garden will soon include fruit trees, a pergola, a fence with berry bushes, and plenty of native plants to support our native pollinators. Installed March of 2025!
The area for the vegetable garden was a blank slate
A simple drawing was all we needed to get a plan for installation.
Lining the beds in this narrow pathway maximizes exposure to the sun and uses space wisely
The square bed is for the little girl to garden and express her creativity, while Morgan can express her own creativity in the big growing spaces!
Next steps for this garden are to add mulch groundcover, simple wire grape trellises, and fruit trees.
